Krafton to Hire 700 New Graduates and Experienced Professionals This Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Krafton announced on the 15th that it will recruit 700 new and experienced employees this year.
Applications for new employees will be accepted on the recruitment website from the 26th of this month until the 9th of next month, while experienced positions will be recruited on an ongoing basis.
The recruitment fields cover all departments including PD, Tech, Art, Challengers Office, UX·UI, IT Infrastructure, AI, Business, and Support Organizations. The hiring process proceeds in the order of document screening, job-specific tests, practical interviews, and executive interviews. Successful new recruits will join the company on July 1st.
Krafton has strengthened its internal systems and research and development areas to ensure continuous challenges and growth. In February, it announced plans to increase starting salaries to 60 million KRW for developers and 50 million KRW for non-developers, which is among the highest levels in the gaming industry.
The company established the ‘Challengers Office,’ where employees can plan and develop games they want to create themselves, providing a production environment of continuous challenge and growth for new hires. Members who join through the Challengers Office can propose and develop projects individually or in autonomously formed teams.
The AI research team is recruited on an ongoing basis to pursue new business areas. The research team plans to develop AI NPCs (Non-Player Characters) and virtual influencers using deep learning technologies in text, voice, and image fields.
