Supporting Promotion Through Corporate/Product Guidebook to Overcome COVID-19 Crisis... Recruiting SMEs in Humanoid, Beauty, and Video Media Fields This Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) is producing a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) guidebook to provide opportunities for market development and enhance networking among companies, helping local businesses struggling due to COVID-19.
The district announced that it will conduct a pilot project this year targeting SMEs in the fields of 4th industrial revolution-related humanoids, beauty, and video media, and is recruiting companies wishing to be included in the guidebook until April 30.
The guidebook will include basic company information and product details. The completed guidebook will be distributed to ‘companies and corporate support facilities,’ ‘related organizations (groups),’ ‘domestic and overseas sister cities and foreign buyers,’ ‘local community centers,’ and ‘residents’ to raise company awareness and promote products.
The district plans to review the effectiveness of this pilot project targeting SMEs in the ‘humanoid,’ ‘beauty,’ and ‘video media’ sectors this year and gradually expand it to other industrial fields.
Companies wishing to participate can download the application form from the Geumcheon-gu Office website’s public notice board, fill it out, and submit it via email to the district’s Regional Economy Division at gkfn1539@geumcheon.go.kr.
Mayor Yu Seong-hoon of Geumcheon-gu said, “We hope local SMEs will establish a foundation for mutual growth through information-building support,” and added, “We will continue to support local SMEs in strengthening their competitiveness through networking among companies.”
