NH Nonghyup Life Insurance Saves 10,000 Hours of Work Through Digital Automation
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] NH NongHyup Life Insurance announced on the 14th that it achieved an annual workload reduction of 10,800 hours by conducting the first phase of the 'Robotic Process Automation (RPA)' project over three months.
NongHyup Life applied RPA to a system that automatically inputs foreign currency ETF Bloomberg reference price data into its internal system, performing the reference price input tasks, which were inconvenient due to time differences, during early mornings and holidays, thereby improving convenience and timeliness.
Additionally, RPA was applied to automate agent appointment approvals, manage Supreme Court rehabilitation cases, and expand consistency checks for example refund amounts and pension example amounts.
NongHyup Life will launch the second phase of the RPA project for six months starting in May. The goal is to apply RPA additionally to 30 high-efficiency tasks. Furthermore, training will be conducted for RPA development practice, preparation and execution plans for on-site testing, and sharing of best practice cases to cultivate RPA specialists.
