Changwon City Conducts On-Site Inspection of Changwon International Shooting Range Ahead of Tokyo Olympic Qualifiers
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Jeong Hyeran, the 2nd Deputy Mayor of Changwon City, visited the Changwon International Shooting Range on the 13th to inspect the shooting facilities in preparation for the Tokyo Olympics selection competition.
The visit was conducted to review the overall event operations for the successful hosting of the 2021 Tokyo Olympics National Team Selection Competition, which will be held from the 15th.
Deputy Mayor Jeong inspected various areas of the Changwon International Shooting Range to check the preparation status of the event, focusing on COVID-19 prevention and the prevention of safety accidents during the competition.
The 2021 Tokyo Olympics National Team Selection Competition, held at the Changwon International Shooting Range from the 15th to the 30th, will feature 161 participants across 10 events.
The final 14 male and female athletes for the Tokyo Olympics will be confirmed.
Deputy Mayor Jeong said, "In line with the status of Changwon as an international shooting city, we will do our best in quarantine management and facility inspection to ensure the Olympic selection competition is held without any setbacks."
