Hana Financial Group Recommends Kwon Gil-ju, President of Dure Signing, as New CEO of Hana Card
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] Hana Financial Group announced on the 12th that the Group Executive Candidate Recommendation Committee recommended Kwon Gil-ju, the current CEO of Dure Signing, as the new CEO candidate for Hana Card.
Candidate Kwon was born in 1960, graduated from Hongdae High School, and earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Korea University. He joined Korea Exchange Bank in 1985 and has served as Vice President in charge of Group ICT at Hana Financial Group and Deputy Head of the ICT Group at Hana Bank.
The Hana Financial Group Executive Candidate Recommendation Committee explained that candidate Kwon is considered the best fit due to his diverse experience within Hana Financial Group, including the holding company, bank, and card sectors, and his previous role as Head of the Management Support Division at Hana SK Card, demonstrating excellent understanding and expertise in overall card operations.

Candidate Kwon's appointment will be finalized after approval by the Hana Card board of directors and an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders. The term of office, if appointed, will last until the regular shareholders' meeting scheduled for March 2022.
