Gwangju Records Zero New COVID-19 Cases for Three Consecutive Days... Cumulative Total Remains at 2,234
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] No new COVID-19 cases have been reported in Gwangju Metropolitan City for three consecutive days.
According to Gwangju City on the 11th, there were zero new confirmed cases the previous day.
This is the third day without any confirmed cases this month and the first time in three days since the 7th.
All 1,781 COVID-19 tests conducted the previous day came back negative.
The cumulative number of confirmed cases in the Gwangju area has remained at 2,234 since the 9th.
There are 692 people in quarantine classified as contacts of existing confirmed cases.

Looking at the number of confirmed cases by the five autonomous districts, Gwangsan-gu had the highest with 655 cases, followed by Buk-gu with 590, Seo-gu with 468, Nam-gu with 212, and Dong-gu with 117.
