Yoo In-tae: "Let's 'Join Forces' with Ministers Lee Kwang-jae and Lee In-young"
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Cheol-eung] Former Secretary General of the National Assembly Yuin Tae said regarding the next presidential election, "So-called 586 members will make an appearance."
Former Secretary General Yuin appeared on CBS Radio's 'Kim Hyun-jung's News Show' on the 9th and said, "Minister Lee In-young went to the Ministry of Unification, but given the deadlock in inter-Korean relations, he hasn't really achieved much. So it seems he is declining himself," adding, "People around him are encouraging him a bit. And Representative Lee Kwang-jae also said, 'Let's try to make a joint appearance once.'"
He continued, "It seems a few others are also being approached, but they will only make a move if the conditions are right."
He predicted that former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol would eventually join the People Power Party in the opposition camp. Former Secretary General Yuin said, "For example, if former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol is separate, and the People Power Party selects a candidate through its own primary election, like Representative Ahn Cheol-soo did this time, but ultimately (Representative Ahn) lost to the party candidate," adding, "So I think it is right that when the primary starts, he should enter and participate."
