Gokseong-gun to Issue Happiness Voucher Cards for Women Farmers Until the 12th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Yoo Geun-gi) announced that it will issue the Women Farmers' Happiness Voucher (hereinafter referred to as 'Happiness Voucher') cards until the 12th of this month.
The Happiness Voucher is a system that issues voucher cards allowing women farmers to use 200,000 KRW annually (with a 20,000 KRW self-payment). It has been implemented since 2017 to provide opportunities for cultural activities to women farmers in rural areas where cultural conditions are relatively poor. Women farmers aged between 20 and 75 who reside in Gokseong-gun and are actively engaged in farming are eligible for support.
The Happiness Voucher card can be used in all industries except for gambling and entertainment establishments. However, this year's support funds must be used by the end of the year and cannot be carried over to the next year.
Gokseong-gun received applications from January to March and selected 2,788 beneficiaries for this year.
Applicants can visit the designated NongHyup bank branch specified during the card application to receive their cards. For more details, inquiries can be made at the town or township office where the application form was submitted.
