Hampyeong-gun Implements 'Slip-Resistant Mat Installation Project' for Long-Term Hospitalized Patients
[Hampyeong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Jeonnam Hampyeong-gun announced on the 8th that it will carry out the ‘Anti-Slip Mat Installation Project’ targeting households of long-term hospitalized medical aid recipients.
This project involves installing anti-slip mats in the bedrooms and bathrooms of households with long-term hospitalized medical aid recipients, aiming to support safe return home after discharge.
The recipients will be selected through 1:1 long-term hospitalization case management, with a total of 90 recipients planned to be supported.
The county expects this project to prevent cases of re-hospitalization due to falls after discharge, thereby reducing medical aid financial expenses.
Kim Bonghyun, Director of the Resident Welfare Division, said, “Through proactive administration, we will identify and support the inconveniences of vulnerable groups such as medical aid recipients in advance, and strengthen long-term hospitalization case management to reduce medical aid financial expenses.”
