Lotte Mart Sells 'Giant Orange' Larger Than a Baseball
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Lotte Mart announced on the 8th that it will offer 'Giant Oranges,' which are larger than regular oranges, at all stores until the 14th.
The Giant Orange weighs more than 350g each and has a high sugar content of over 12 Brix. It is about 50g larger than the commonly distributed oranges. Such large oranges account for less than 3% of the total orange production in California, making them difficult to find domestically.
Lotte Mart has secured 1.2 million Giant Oranges so that customers can purchase large-sized oranges at an affordable price. L.POINT members can buy the Giant Oranges for 990 won, which is 500 won off the regular price, when paying with the event card.
