On this day, six supervisory group members, including the head of the citizen supervisory group and experts in architecture, civil engineering, mechanical, and electrical fields, inspected the construction site based on the design documents and listened to the difficulties and suggestions from the site.
The citizen supervisory group was composed of 20 experts in architecture, civil engineering, mechanical, and electrical fields through a public recruitment process and officially launched through an appointment ceremony on February 24.
They focus on tasks such as directly inspecting the construction site with the eyes of external private experts, preventing poor workmanship and disasters, guiding, and checking the status of progress, quality, construction, and safety management.
This year, they plan to conduct monitoring activities targeting six construction sites with construction costs exceeding 2.5 billion won, including the Gurye Public Library new building project site.
