[Notice] 2021 Asia Future Business Forum... Finding Korean-style ESG Solutions

The concept of 'ESG' management, which stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance, has emerged as a major topic. ESG refers to non-financial information or performance that must be considered in investment or management for corporate sustainability. Especially as the world transitions to a decarbonized society, ESG has established itself as a new standard and survival strategy for companies. Sovereign wealth funds and global asset managers have set principles of not investing in companies that ignore ESG, making ESG management an unstoppable trend. However, a survey conducted by the Federation of Korean Industries targeting the top 500 companies by sales revealed that 7 out of 10 CEOs are interested in ESG but struggle with establishing management strategies due to ambiguous concepts and differing evaluation methods. In response, Asia Economy has set the theme of this year's Future Enterprise Forum as 'Korean-style ESG Solutions in the New Normal Era' and aims to explore ways to enhance the value of our companies through expert lectures in the ESG field.
