[Asia Economy Reporter Junhyung Lee] LED company Seoul Semiconductor announced on the 7th that its sales in the first quarter of this year reached 312 billion KRW, marking a 28.3% increase compared to the same period last year. This is the highest sales level since the company's establishment in 1987.
According to Seoul Semiconductor, the company's business sectors, including information technology (IT), automotive, and lighting, all showed steady growth. The company plans to disclose detailed information about the first quarter performance through a public announcement at the end of this month.

A Seoul Semiconductor official stated, "The relocation of production bases to Vietnam, which began in 2017, has entered a stabilization phase, improving cost competitiveness," and added, "Mass production of miniLED, a next-generation display technology gaining attention, started this year, and related sales are expected to increase."
