Daejeon City Provides '1 Million Won Per Person' Support to Local Artists
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Daejeon City will provide 1 million KRW per person to local artists. This is to partially alleviate the economic difficulties caused by restrictions on exhibitions and performances due to COVID-19.
The city announced on the 7th that it will proceed with the second round of basic creative activity support for local artists who did not receive the basic creative activity support in February.
The support targets professional artists whose registered address is in Daejeon and who have valid proof of artistic activity or have participated in art support projects organized by the Daejeon Cultural Foundation. However, artists who received the first round of support are excluded.
Applications can be submitted via email to the Daejeon Cultural Foundation from the 12th of this month to May 11th. The support funds will be paid to the applicant's account in their own name in three installments according to the order of application.
