Bus and Truck 4-Vehicle Collision in Jeju... 5 Seriously Injured, Over 50 Slightly Hurt
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] At around 5:59 PM on the 6th, a four-vehicle collision occurred at the Jeju National University intersection in Ara-il-dong, Jeju City, resulting in 5 people sustaining serious injuries and about 50 people sustaining minor injuries.
According to the police and fire authorities, two buses, an 11-ton truck, and a 1-ton truck collided in succession, causing one of the buses to overturn beyond the guardrail on the nearby roadside.
As a result of the accident, the drivers of the 11-ton truck and the 1-ton truck were seriously injured.
Additionally, three passengers riding on the two buses were seriously injured.
About 50 other passengers sustained minor injuries and were transported to hospitals.
