[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] SK Hynix is reportedly pursuing a long-term supply of automotive memory semiconductors with Bosch, the world's number one automotive parts manufacturer based in Germany.
According to industry sources on the 6th, SK Hynix is negotiating with Bosch for the supply of automotive memory semiconductors. The supply period is known to be over 10 years. Last year, Bosch reportedly sent an inspection team to SK Hynix's domestic facilities to check the product development status.
If this contract is finalized, SK Hynix will supply automotive memory semiconductor products such as automotive DRAM to Bosch, the top automotive parts company, for the first time. The industry expects that through this long-term supply contract with Bosch, SK Hynix will pursue additional orders from global automotive electronics companies.
