Jangseong-gun Conducts Joint Simulation Drill in Preparation for COVID-19 Vaccination
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 6th that it conducted a joint simulation drill for safe COVID-19 vaccination.
The purpose of the simulation drill was to thoroughly prepare for the second quarter vaccination starting on the 15th.
The drill involved Jangseong-gun Public Health Center, police station, fire station, and military units.
The second quarter vaccination targets about 7,000 people, including residents aged 75 and older, and residents and workers of elderly care facilities.
AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines are expected to be used together.
Jangseong-gun has been making thorough preparations across the entire process, including vaccine storage methods, facility management, and manpower support, such as completing the installation of an ultra-low temperature freezer on the 31st of last month.
The joint simulation drill held at the Jangseong-gun Vaccination Center (Jangseong-gun Community Center) was divided into ▲ Pfizer vaccine transport and preparation demonstration within the vaccine preparation area ▲ verification of vaccination recipients, preliminary examination, and vaccination demonstration ▲ response training for adverse reactions after vaccination.
The evaluation team from Jeollanam-do Provincial Office, who observed the drill, praised the installation of a notification bell in the section connecting the vaccine manufacturing room and the vaccination room as an excellent case.
