[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Shinhan Card announced on the 6th that it will launch an ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) dedicated shopping mall called 'Eco-Friendly Zone' on Shinhan Card All That Shopping, selling a variety of eco-friendly products across all areas of daily life, including organic food and daily necessities.
The Eco-Friendly Zone offers a total of about 100 eco-friendly foods, daily necessities, and Grade 1 home appliances at prices up to 50% cheaper than the regular price.
First, in the area of eco-friendly certified foods and agricultural products, customers can purchase a total of 24 types of organic certified foods, including 13 types of Chorokmaeul organic foods and GAP certified foods.
In the daily necessities category, a total of 25 products such as Lesome eco-friendly diapers, Atopalm soothing lotion, and Siliman silicone food pouches are available, and in the Grade 1 home appliances category, high-efficiency appliances such as LG Electronics dryers, refrigerators, and air conditioners can be purchased at affordable prices.
With the launch of the Eco-Friendly Zone, Shinhan Card expects that customers will be able to reduce carbon emissions and take the lead in environmental protection during their consumption process, contributing to creating a healthy planet, in line with Shinhan Financial Group’s mid- to long-term eco-friendly strategy 'Zero Carbon Drive,' which was the first among East Asian financial groups to be declared.
