According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, chilly weather with low morning temperatures will continue until the day after tomorrow (the 8th). Morning temperatures are expected to be below 5 degrees Celsius mainly inland, and daytime highs will range from 15 to 21 degrees Celsius.
As of 7 a.m., temperatures are 10.1°C in Seoul, 7.7°C in Suwon, 6.0°C in Daejeon, 5.1°C in Daegu, 8.4°C in Busan, 8.3°C in Gwangju, and 12.1°C in Jeju.
The Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "With a temperature difference of around 15 degrees Celsius, caution is needed for health management such as preventing weakened immunity," and added, "Until the day after tomorrow, temperatures near the ground will drop below freezing from dawn to morning, causing frost and ice in some areas, so care should be taken to avoid cold damage."
Until 9 a.m., fog with visibility less than 1 km is expected mainly in the southern regions, so traffic safety should be observed.
Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' to 'Moderate' across all regions, but in southern Gyeonggi, Sejong, and Chungnam, levels may temporarily reach 'Bad' in the morning.
Along the Gyeongsang coastal area, high waves caused by swell will strongly push onto sandy beaches, and some coastal roads and rocky shores may be overtopped.
