Gwangju Veterans Affairs Office Holds 'Kindness and Integrity Pledge Plant Distribution Event' Instead of Tree Planting Ceremony
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Gwangju Regional Veterans Affairs Office (Director Im Seonghyun) announced on the 6th that it held a ‘Kindness and Integrity Pledge Plant Distribution Event’ on the 5th to promote proactive administration, government innovation, and integrity mindset among its employees.
Instead of organizing a group tree-planting event on Arbor Day, the event was conducted in accordance with COVID-19 government quarantine guidelines.
The event involved individually distributing mini air-purifying plant pots with stickers attached that contained each employee’s personal pledge related to government innovation, kindness, proactive administration, and integrity.
One employee who participated in the event said, “In the COVID-19 situation, distributing the pots individually and nurturing a small plant myself, while checking my service mindset through the pledge written on the pot, was a good opportunity.”
