JTI Korea Announces Recruitment for Global Internship Challenge Participation
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] JTI Korea announced on the 5th that it is recruiting talent to participate in its global internship challenge 'Make It Bright,' aimed at nurturing the next generation of talent.
The Make It Bright program is a global internship challenge program hosted by JTI headquarters located in Geneva, Switzerland, which started in 2019. It was designed to discover and cultivate the next generation of global talent who possess creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, targeting young talents with potential from 35 countries worldwide.
Participants select one topic from the given options and engage in ideation through local and global competitive presentations over approximately seven months. During this process, they experience various projects closely related to practical work and receive professional mentoring.
The final winning team will be given the opportunity to work as interns for six months at JTI headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. The 2nd and 3rd place teams will receive vouchers supporting learning and development, as well as laptops and tablets. A JTI official stated, "We ask for the interest and participation of many domestic youths aspiring to become global talents."

The application period is until the 31st of next month. After signing up on the website, individuals (1 person) or groups (2 people) can apply. Eligibility requirements include being a youth aged 19 to 28 legally able to work in the Republic of Korea, with less than two years of work experience, business-level English proficiency, and no disqualifications for overseas travel.
