SK Magic Obtains Information Security and Personal Data Management System Certification
The Nation's Top-Level Security Management System... Passed a Total of 102 Certification Standards Across Each Area
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] SK Magic (CEO Yoon Yo-seop) announced on the 5th that it has obtained the nationally certified 'Information Security and Personal Information Protection Management System (ISMS-P) certification' from the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).
The ISMS-P certification is the highest level security management system in Korea, established according to the 'Personal Information Protection Management System Certification Notice' by the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Korea Communications Commission, and the Ministry of the Interior and Safety. It is a certification system that verifies whether a company has established and operates management procedures to protect key information assets from various security threats, including physical, technical, and administrative protection measures, to safeguard customer and personal information.
To obtain the certification, companies must pass a total of 102 certification criteria across each area, including ▲Establishment and operation of information security management system (16 items) ▲Protection measure requirements (64 items) ▲Personal information processing stage requirements (22 items), as well as conformity review by the certification committee. Even after obtaining the certification, annual regular audits are conducted to evaluate whether the certification is maintained.
