McDonald's Launches Two New Chiller Flavors and Ice Cream for Spring
‘Jeju Hallabong Chiller’ Uses a Total of 47 Tons of Jeju Hallabong This Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] McDonald's Korea announced on the 5th that it will launch new beverage and dessert menu items.
The products include chillers such as the 'Apple Mango Chiller' and 'Jeju Hallabong Chiller,' as well as ice creams like the 'Strawberry Cone' and 'Very Strawberry McFlurry.'
The Jeju Hallabong Chiller is made with Hallabong, a representative fruit of clean Jeju, and was highly loved by customers when it was first released last year. The Hallabong Chiller was introduced as part of 'local sourcing,' and this year, a total of 47 tons of Jeju Hallabong is expected to be used.
The two ice cream items, 'Strawberry Cone' and 'Very Strawberry McFlurry,' which were previously offered as limited editions, will be released on the 8th and will continue to be offered as regular menu items due to customer requests.

The prices for McDonald's Apple Mango Chiller and Jeju Hallabong Chiller are the same: 2,000 won for small size, 2,700 won for medium size, and 3,700 won for large size. The prices for the Strawberry Cone and Very Strawberry McFlurry are 700 won and 2,500 won, respectively.
