Suwon City Strengthens Safety Management at Small and Medium Construction Sites... Agreement with the Korea Agency for Infrastructure Safety

The Korea Land and Housing Safety Management Corporation is an organization under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, responsible for safety and quality management of construction works, safety and maintenance management of facilities, and underground safety management.
On the 5th, Suwon City announced that it signed a "Safety Management Agreement for Construction Sites" with the Korea Land and Housing Safety Management Corporation at the Suwon City Hall situation room, agreeing to actively cooperate to prevent accidents at construction sites.
According to the agreement, the two organizations will carry out various cooperative projects including ▲ safety inspections of small and medium-sized construction sites in Suwon City ▲ consultation and consulting on safety management of small and medium-sized construction works ▲ promotion and education to spread a safety culture ▲ exchange of information and technology related to construction and underground safety management.
Suwon City especially expects that the professional inspections by the Korea Land and Housing Safety Management Corporation will greatly help prevent construction accidents at small and medium-sized construction sites where safety management has been somewhat insufficient.
The Korea Land and Housing Safety Management Corporation will provide safety consulting and education to raise safety awareness among construction-related personnel at small and medium-sized construction sites.
Suwon City plans to continuously manage and supervise construction sites to prevent construction accidents and establish a safe construction culture.
The two organizations will conduct projects under the agreement, such as "Joint Inspections of Construction Sites in Preparation for the Rainy Season," starting in July after practical consultations on detailed projects.
