Apply via forecast email by the 9th
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] The Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation (KDIC) announced on the 2nd that it will conduct the '2021 KDIC-Academia Cooperation Program (KEPA)' to enhance university students' understanding of the financial industry and facilitate smooth communication.
KEPA is KDIC's industry-academia cooperation program that started in 2011. KDIC employees visit universities to give lectures on the deposit insurance system, major issues in various financial sectors, and KDIC's recruitment system.
Since last year, considering the non-face-to-face lecture environment due to COVID-19, online participation through the distribution of lecture videos is also accepted. Applicants can choose their preferred lecture format between online and offline. However, offline participation may not be conducted depending on the social distancing level.
Local universities wishing to participate in the program can apply via KDIC email by the 9th.
