DB Insurance Supports Firefighters for 19 Years in Partnership with the Fire Agency

This year's Grand Prize was awarded to firefighter Lee Young-hwan of the Northern Special Response Unit, Northern Fire and Disaster Headquarters, Gyeonggi Province, who actively participated in rescue operations during major disasters such as the Goyang oil depot fire in Gyeonggi Province. He is highly respected for passing on his extensive experience and knowledge of water rescue techniques to junior firefighters.
The Special Award was given to Ms. Lee Myung-hee and the Korea Safety Certification Institute. Ms. Lee was recognized for her contribution to reducing human and property damage by initially extinguishing a fire at the scene of a traffic accident near Gonjiam IC on the highway on January 13, 2021. The Korea Safety Certification Institute was acknowledged for promoting a safety culture through spatial safety certification and fire safety inspections for companies.
