Ministry of Personnel Management Discusses Expansion Plan for Asset Registration of Public Officials
Meeting of Audit Officers from Related Ministries... "Restoring Public Trust through Strengthened Preventive Management of Asset Registration"
[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Jeong-min] On the 1st, the Ministry of Personnel Innovation held a meeting of audit officers from related ministries at the Government Sejong Complex to discuss implementation plans related to the expansion of asset registration for public officials.
The Ministry of Personnel Innovation stated that regarding the 'Measures to Eradicate Real Estate Speculation and Prevent Recurrence' jointly announced by the government on March 29, the specific scope of asset registration expansion will be finalized in consultation with related ministries.
The Ministry of Personnel Innovation explained, "Application is excluded for public official-related organizations such as the Women Entrepreneurs Association, Korea Magazine Association, social welfare organizations, and public service positions such as sanitation workers and facility management," adding, "We will also prepare specific guidelines for implementing asset registration for all public officials, including methods of asset registration, together with related ministries."
