[Asia Economy Reporter Ji Yeon-jin] Woongjin ThinkBig saw a sharp rise on the KOSPI market on the 1st, hitting a new 52-week high following news of expanding its education platform business.
As of 10:42 AM that day, Woongjin ThinkBig was trading at 3,860 KRW, up 16.77% (555 KRW) from the previous day. During the session, the price rose to 3,970 KRW, marking a 52-week high.
Earlier, the company announced through a disclosure that it had signed an exclusive business agreement for South Korea with Udemy, the world's largest online education platform.
Woongjin ThinkBig plans to collaborate with Udemy to △translate global courses into Korean △create content attractive to domestic users △secure corporate and institutional clients in Korea △conduct joint marketing and promotions. They intend to officially provide education content tailored to the Korean market in the second half of the year.
