Kim Dae-geun Appointed as New CEO of Boseong Industry
[Asia Economy Reporter Tae-min Ryu] Boseong Industrial, an affiliate of Boseong Group, announced on the 1st that it has appointed Kim Dae-geun (58, photo), former CEO of Songdo Landmark City from Hyundai Construction, as its new CEO.
Appointed CEO Kim Dae-geun graduated from Yonsei University with a degree in law. After joining Hyundai Construction in 1992, he worked in domestic and international construction, project management, and sales departments, serving as head of public relations and legal affairs. Since last year, he has been serving as CEO of Songdo Landmark City, an investment corporation of Hyundai Construction. Boseong Industrial will officially appoint Kim as CEO following the shareholders' meeting and board of directors meeting held today.
The company explained that Kim is evaluated as the right person to effectively carry out Boseong Industrial's housing and complex development, as well as urban construction projects by combining his extensive experience in various construction and real estate fields with his project management and external cooperation capabilities.

Meanwhile, Boseong Industrial is expanding its business areas from housing and complex development to urban development, digital real estate, and smart city sectors. This year, the Cheongna International City project (including Cheongna International Financial District, Cheongna City Tower, and Incheon Robot Land) is expected to actively advance, with office and officetel sales planned within the financial district.
