National Intangible Heritage Center Announces UCC Contest on Healing and Comfort Themes
"Intangible Heritage Digital Archive Photos, Videos, and Audio Now Available for Use"
The National Intangible Heritage Center is holding a contest for intangible heritage user-created content (UCC) from July 1 to 16 as part of the International Intangible Heritage Film Festival. The theme is stories of intangible heritage related to healing and comfort. Participants can freely choose detailed topics such as emotional relaxation related to intangible heritage (ASMR), transmission activities, the lives and philosophies of transmitters, and experiential or educational activities, and produce and submit videos of about 10 minutes in length. An official stated, "Photos, videos, and audio files available in the intangible heritage digital archive can be used." Applicants can download the entry form from the International Intangible Heritage Film Festival website and submit it via email to the secretariat. Winners will be announced at the end of August.
