SK Hynix, Park Jung-ho and Lee Seok-hee as Co-CEOs... Board Chair is Ha Young-gu
[Asia Economy Reporter Su-yeon Woo] SK Hynix is transitioning to a dual CEO system operated by Vice Chairman Park Jeong-ho and President Lee Seok-hee.
On the 30th, SK Hynix held a board meeting and appointed Vice Chairman Park as the CEO of SK Hynix. This decision was made following the approval of Park's appointment as an inside director at the shareholders' meeting held the same day.
Vice Chairman Park will be in charge of corporate culture, focusing on big-picture strategies to strengthen global competitiveness and seeking new business opportunities, while President Lee will be responsible for development, investment, and operations to enhance technology and product competitiveness.

View original imageAlong with this, the chairmanship of the board, previously held by Vice Chairman Park, will be taken over by Senior Outside Director Ha Young-gu (former Citibank CEO).
Chairman Ha stated, "Having managed SK Telecom for over four years, Vice Chairman Park is expected to design and lead the global ICT ecosystem," adding, "President Lee will be able to fully concentrate on securing advanced technological competitiveness of core products such as DRAM and NAND, as well as on the Intel acquisition and subsequent tasks."

Starting this year, SK Hynix has shifted to a board-centered management system, making major company decisions based on outside director-led subcommittees including the Future Strategy Committee, Personnel and Compensation Committee, Audit Committee, Sustainability Committee, and Outside Director Candidate Recommendation Committee.
