Woori Bank Opens Additional 'Small Business Comprehensive Support Centers' in 4 Locations Nationwide
Comprehensive Consulting Support for Startups, Policy Finance, and Crisis Management... Non-Face-to-Face Video Consulting Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Woori Bank announced on the 30th that it has opened four additional branches of the 'Woori Small Business Comprehensive Support Center' in Gangdong, Seoul, Daejeon, Daegu, and Gwangju to support self-employed individuals facing business difficulties due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
The opening ceremony held at the Gangdong Center on the same day was attended by key figures including Yoon Seok-heon, Governor of the Financial Supervisory Service, and Kwon Kwang-seok, President of Woori Bank.
Since 2019, Woori Bank has been operating Small Business Comprehensive Support Centers in five locations: Jongno, Myeongdong, Eunpyeong, Pangyo, and Busan. From this day forward, including the newly opened centers, it plans to operate a total of nine centers nationwide.
The Small Business Comprehensive Support Center provides self-employed individuals with comprehensive support including ▲crisis management consulting (sales recovery, online market entry, etc.) ▲startup consulting (commercial area analysis, startup procedures, etc.) ▲financial consulting (policy finance, etc.). For customers who find it difficult to visit the centers due to physical distance constraints, non-face-to-face consulting services using video consultations are also offered.
Additionally, Woori Bank operates a mentoring program for young self-employed entrepreneurs. Through one-on-one matching between self-employment and marketing experts and young self-employed individuals, practical support is provided in areas such as startup (business site experience, transfer of business know-how), marketing (customized marketing support), and online markets (advancement into online business).
