Honam University Department of Speech-Language Pathology Conducts Online Clinical Practice
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] The Department of Speech Therapy at Honam University announced on the 30th that it is conducting an online clinical practice guidance program involving speech therapists to enhance the clinical practical skills of its students.
Due to COVID-19, this program, held via Zoom online classes until the end of June, invited speech therapist Kim Yuri (Level 1) from 'KIMS Speech Research Institute' to deliver lectures on speech rehabilitation observation and practical training to third- and fourth-year students.
Professor Yoo Jae-yeon, who organized the program, stated, "Through vivid one-point guidance from field practitioners, students are expected to share various speech therapy information and improve their self-directed problem-solving practical skills."
