Gwangju Shinsegae Opens 'Hwangsaengga Kalguksu' Selected by Michelin Guide
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Gwangju Shinsegae Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Dong-hoon) announced on the 30th that it has newly opened "Hwangsaengga Kalguksu," a Michelin Guide-selected restaurant, in the Food Plaza on the basement first floor of the main building.
Hwangsaengga Kalguksu started in 2001 as Bukchon Kalguksu in Bukchon, Seoul, and has since changed its name and operated as a specialty restaurant for kalguksu and dumplings.
It is a famous restaurant that was selected for the Michelin Guide for five consecutive years from 2017 to 2021.
The signature menu is Sagol Kalguksu, handmade noodles made by boiling 100% Korean beef bone broth, characterized by its soft noodles and deep flavor of the bone broth.
