On the morning of the 30th, Secretary-General Park Kwang-on, Floor Leader Kim Young-jin, and Floor Spokesperson Park Sung-joon held a press conference at the National Assembly and then visited the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission to request an investigation. Secretary-General Park submitted consent forms for the provision of personal information concerning 174 members of the National Assembly affiliated with the party, along with their spouses and direct descendants and ascendants, to the Commission.
At the press conference, Secretary-General Park stated, "Any member found to be involved in speculation will be held legally and politically accountable, regardless of their status," and urged the People Power Party to also participate in the full-scale investigation. Although both ruling and opposition parties have agreed on the need for a comprehensive real estate investigation, they have not reached consensus on the investigative body and methods. Amid this, the Democratic Party has taken a proactive stance by requesting a third-party organization to handle the matter. He added, "If a special law is enacted in the National Assembly or if a third-party institution proposes a full-scale investigation involving both ruling and opposition parties equally, the Democratic Party will sincerely comply," leaving open the possibility of negotiations with the People Power Party.

Kim Tae-nyeon, Acting Party Leader, said at the morning floor strategy meeting held at the National Assembly on the same day, "Chairperson Jeon Hyun-hee of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission has requested not to intervene or receive reports related to this investigation." This appears to be a measure to preemptively prevent any potential conflict of interest involving the chairperson, who is affiliated with the ruling party.
