Mandatory Integrity Education for Export Voucher Selected Companies and Implementing Agencies Starting This Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (Minister Kwon Chil-seung, hereinafter referred to as the Ministry) and the Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 30th that they will hold an online business briefing session in a non-face-to-face format for the first selected companies of the 2021 Export Voucher Project for one month. A total of 4,561 companies applied for the first round of the Export Voucher Project this year, and after the selection evaluation, 1,691 companies were finally selected. Domestic companies recorded a final competition rate of 3 to 1.
SBC will produce videos containing information such as ▲online contract signing ▲voucher usage plan preparation and registration ▲voucher settlement methods ▲service utilization guides to help the first selected companies of the Export Voucher Project participate smoothly in the project and will conduct the online briefing session. Especially from this year, to prevent fraudulent activities related to the export voucher in advance, anti-corruption integrity education has been made mandatory for executing agencies and participating companies. The anti-corruption integrity education includes ▲Export Voucher management and operation guidelines ▲Subsidy Management Act ▲cases of subsidy recovery and sanctions due to fraudulent activities.
The Export Voucher business briefing session and integrity education videos can be viewed anytime through the access link until the 30th of next month. Export Voucher selected companies are provided vouchers ranging from 30 million KRW to a maximum of 100 million KRW depending on the previous year's export scale. Companies can freely select and use desired services and executing agencies from a menu containing 13 types of services, including new services such as international logistics and transportation, by utilizing the vouchers.
