Son Jeong-ui Discusses Introducing Coupang in Japan
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Jae-hee] Masayoshi Son, chairman of Japan's SoftBank Group (SBG), is reportedly discussing the introduction of Coupang, which is listed on the New York Stock Exchange, into the Japanese market.
According to major foreign media on the 30th, Chairman Son revealed that Z Holdings, a subsidiary of SoftBank, is in talks with Coupang to provide Coupang's services in Japan.
Z Holdings is an intermediate holding company launched on the 1st to integrate Naver's Japanese subsidiary Line and SoftBank's Yahoo.
