From the 31st, All Services on Government24 Available for Inquiry, Application, and Issuance via Simple Authentication
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] From the 31st, all services on ‘Government24’ will allow the use of the private electronic signature ‘Simple Authentication’.
On the 30th, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced that from the 31st, users will be able to conveniently view, apply for, and receive issuance documents such as resident registration certificates and other certificates using Simple Authentication on ‘Government24’, as well as check personal lifestyle information and manage membership information. Mobile Simple Authentication is scheduled to be serviced in the second half of this year.
Unlike the existing public certificate, Simple Authentication does not require annual renewal, does not need to be registered on Government24, and the issuance and authentication procedures are simpler. In January, Government24 operated the Simple Authentication service at the ‘Year-end Tax Settlement Resident Registration Certificate Issuance Service Dedicated Window’.
