Yujin Air Conditioning: Providing Restoration Services with Original Patent Technology for Embedded Air Conditioner Piping Repair
Yujin Air Conditioning, a specialist company in embedded air conditioner piping (CEO Jinsoo Kim), announced that due to the seasonal increase in demand for restoring embedded air conditioner piping, it will provide restoration services nationwide based on its patented technology.
When exhaust devices are installed on balconies or external railings, issues such as structural safety problems caused by vibrations, fall accidents of installation workers, and environmental pollution due to coolant leakage may occur. To prevent these problems, since January 2006 (Presidential Decree No. 19263, effective January 9, 2006), Article 37, Paragraph 4 of the Housing Construction Standards Regulations was newly established, mandating that multi-family housing provide space within units, such as balconies, for installing exhaust devices of cooling equipment.
This naturally highlighted the importance of maintenance for refrigerant (copper) piping, electrical wiring, and drain piping that discharges coolant, all embedded within the units for air conditioner installation. Yujin Air Conditioning has acquired a fundamental patent technology for restoring the diameter of embedded air conditioner piping and is actively applying it in the field by conducting on-site service with teams from its nationwide branches.
According to Yujin Air Conditioning, there have been numerous cases where some copper pipes are bent or crushed, causing manufacturers to refuse air conditioner installation. To address this, instead of breaking and welding the crushed underground sections for repair, they have developed and are applying technology and devices that restore the crushed pipe diameter to its original size. This method is an industry-innovated technology registered as a fundamental patent with the Korean Intellectual Property Office.
In particular, while conventional methods used by construction companies involve locating the problematic section, breaking it, and repairing the part, Yujin Air Conditioning’s embedded air conditioner piping restoration device enters the pipe internally and restores it from start to finish. This is a distinctive feature and represents a revolutionary method that restores the pipe diameter without additional interior work.
Yujin Air Conditioning is accepting applications for embedded air conditioner piping restoration services nationwide through this technological capability. In addition to this patent, they hold six patented technologies and currently have one additional patent and one design application pending.

A representative from Yujin Air Conditioning stated, “In new apartments, piping for air conditioner installation is embedded and the air conditioner location is fixed. Therefore, if one wants to install the air conditioner in a different location, restoring the embedded air conditioner piping is very important due to the incorrect process.” He added, “However, this process requires consideration of various factors and an understanding of building structures, so we will strive to apply it to all apartment and housing structures nationwide.”
