[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Lotte Insurance announced on the 29th that it will offer premium discounts to honor national merit recipients.
The discount applies to insured persons who are registered as national merit recipients, their bereaved families, or relatives with the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs under the "Act on the Honoring and Support of Persons of Distinguished Service to the State." When new insurance is purchased and eligibility is confirmed through supporting documents, a 3% discount on the business premium will be applied from the start.
Additionally, for those eligible for the "National Merit Recipient Premium Discount," priority review assignment will be provided to expedite the underwriting process.
The discount applies to five products: 'let:Smile Comprehensive Health Insurance (The Kkeulim Premium)', 'let:Smile Comprehensive Health Insurance (The Chaeum Basic)', 'let:Simple Easy Health Insurance', 'let:Drive Driver Insurance', and 'let:Play Child Insurance (Dodam Dodam)'.
