Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station 'Enhancing On-Site Response Capability' Fire Truck Suction Operation Training
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station (Chief Im Jongbok) announced on the 28th that it will conduct fire truck water intake operation training until the 2nd of next month.
This training, conducted at five locations including Pyeongdong Reservoir, was promoted to secure efficient firefighting water supply and to enable rapid and accurate on-site response.
The fire truck water intake function is the ability to draw water from reservoirs or rivers when firefighting water facilities such as hydrants are not available near the fire scene. It can also be used at flood damage sites.
