[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] From 0:00 to 18:00 on the 27th, the number of new COVID-19 confirmed cases in Seoul was counted as 123.
According to Seoul City, as of 18:00 on that day, the number of new COVID-19 confirmed cases was 16 more than the same time the previous day and 24 more than 99 cases reported one week earlier (the 20th). The total number of confirmed cases for the entire day was 127 on the 26th and 125 on the 20th.
The daily number of confirmed cases in Seoul has remained below 150 since 180 cases on the 18th of last month.
Seoul's daily positivity rate (number of confirmed cases on the day divided by the number of tests conducted the previous day) has remained at 0.4% from the 21st to the 26th.
Over the recent 15 days (from the 12th to the 26th), an average of 29,772 people were tested daily in Seoul, with an average daily confirmed case count of 118 and an average positivity rate of about 0.4%.
