Imsil-gun Holds Meeting with Presidents of the Life Improvement Association
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] On the 24th, Imsil County announced on the 26th that it held a meeting at the Agricultural Products Processing Center training hall for 13 chairpersons of the town and township of the Imsil County Federation of Life Improvement.
At the meeting, they shared the main business plans of the Imsil County Federation of Life Improvement for 2021 and discussed the schedule for community service activities.
They exchanged opinions on measures to practice safety in farm work to prevent accidents such as slipping and falling, which commonly occur in agricultural fields and account for a large proportion of occupational injuries among farmers, as well as to prevent musculoskeletal disorders.
The Imsil County Federation of Life Improvement, with 507 members from 12 towns and townships, is actively fulfilling its role as a core organization for community development as a women's agricultural organization through various activities such as agricultural technology and task education for capacity building, community service, environmental cleanup activities, and scholarship donations.
Seong Munja, president of the Imsil County Federation of Life Improvement, said, "Despite many restrictions on activities due to the spread of COVID-19 last year, thanks to all members diligently following quarantine rules and actively participating, we were able to strengthen the foundation of the Life Improvement Association. This year as well, we will do our best to improve members' rights and interests and wisely overcome COVID-19 through active cooperation and participation in various activities to boost morale."
