'EBS Online School Opening' Expanded... Extended Broadcast Time for Elementary and Middle School Students
Broadcast for 1st-2nd Grade Elementary Students Until 12:00 PM
Broadcast for 3rd-6th Grade Elementary Students Until 2:20 PM
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] EBS is expanding the 'EBS Online School Opening' to allow easy and diverse access to educational content that complements school education in the new semester, where in-person and remote classes are conducted simultaneously.
On the 26th, EBS announced that starting from the 29th, broadcasts for 1st and 2nd grade elementary students, which were previously aired from 9 AM to 11 AM, will be extended by one hour to air until 12 PM. For 3rd to 6th grade elementary students, broadcasts will run from 9 AM to 2:20 PM.
For 1st and 2nd grade middle school students, broadcasts will be from 9 AM to 3:20 PM, and for 3rd grade middle school students, from 9 AM to 1:40 PM.
During the extended broadcast hours, elementary students will be offered programs on creative experiential activities, mathematics, and English subjects, while middle school students will have programs covering basic and advanced levels of Korean, mathematics, and English.
Since April last year, when full remote classes began due to COVID-19, EBS has been broadcasting the EBS Online School Opening for nine grades from 1st grade elementary to 3rd grade middle school. This year, it plans to broadcast year-round until the end of the year. The EBS Online School Opening is organized into programs for ▲1st semester (March to July) ▲summer vacation (August) ▲2nd semester (September to December).

The EBS Online School Opening will be broadcast on the same channels as before: 1st and 2nd grade elementary students on the terrestrial EBS 2TV channel and EBS Plus2, 3rd grade elementary to 2nd grade middle school students on the EBS Learning channel, and 3rd grade middle school students on the EBS English channel. It is available on terrestrial, IPTV, cable TV, satellite broadcasting platforms, as well as on Naver TV, Kakao TV, and YouTube.
