View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] On Friday the 26th, the daytime high temperature will be around 20 degrees Celsius, making it warm, but fine dust levels in the Seoul metropolitan area will soar to 'very bad' levels. Rain is expected nationwide starting Saturday afternoon.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 26th, the daytime high temperature will be around 20 degrees Celsius, rising up to 25 degrees in the southern regions, continuing the mild weather. Daytime temperatures nationwide will rise 1 to 3 degrees compared to yesterday. Morning temperatures will drop below 5 degrees in most areas nationwide, while daytime temperatures will rise significantly, resulting in a large temperature difference of 15 to 20 degrees, so caution is needed for health management during the changing seasons.
Fine dust levels on this day will be temporarily 'very bad' in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province in the morning, and 'bad' in Gangwon Yeongseo, Sejong, Jeonbuk, and Daegu in the morning. From the afternoon, the Seoul metropolitan area, Chungbuk, and Chungnam will be 'bad', while other regions are expected to be 'normal'. Fine dust generated domestically is expected to accumulate, causing high concentrations in the central region. On the 27th, the Seoul metropolitan area, Chungcheong, and Daegu will have 'bad' levels in the morning, but due to precipitation, levels will improve to 'good' to 'normal' afterward.
Dense fog will form mainly along the west coast on the morning of the 26th, so caution is required when driving. Overnight temperature drops and condensation of water vapor near the surface have caused dense fog with visibility below 100 meters in many areas adjacent to the west coast. As of 6 a.m., visibility is between 50 and 90 meters in places such as Icheon and Pocheon in Gyeonggi, Nonsan and Cheonan in Chungnam, and Yeonggwang, Naju, Mokpo, and Iksan in Jeonnam. Fog will persist until 9 a.m. in Seoul, Gangwon Yeongseo, and inland Gyeongbuk, and until noon along the west coast and inland Gyeonggi.

Due to a low-pressure system moving down from the northeast, rain will begin in northern Gyeonggi, eastern Jeonnam, and western Gyeongnam in the morning and expand nationwide in the afternoon. Expected rainfall amounts are up to 80mm in Jeju, eastern Jeonnam, the southern coast of Gyeongnam, and around Jirisan; 20 to 60mm in the southern regions and the five western islands; and 10 to 40mm in the central regions. Morning temperatures on the 27th are expected to be between 4 and 12 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs between 12 and 19 degrees.
The Korea Meteorological Administration advised, "From tomorrow night to early the day after tomorrow, strong southern winds will bring in abundant moisture, causing very developed rain clouds in Jeju Island, the southern coast, and around Jirisan. There may be strong and heavy rain accompanied by gusts and thunder and lightning, so caution is needed to prevent safety accidents and damage caused by the rain."
On Sunday, the whole country will be cloudy but will gradually clear from the western regions in the afternoon, with clouds increasing again at night in the central regions. Morning lows are expected to be between 8 and 14 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs between 12 and 23 degrees.
