Woori Financial, KT, and Kyobo Life Open AI Education Program at KAIST
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Woori Financial Group announced on the 25th that it will establish an industry-academia linked education program at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in collaboration with KT and Kyobo Life Insurance to foster talent in big data and artificial intelligence (AI).
This education program is part of the "Strategic Business Partnership for Digital Financial Innovation" signed by Woori Financial and KT in August last year. The two companies also held a joint workshop on big data and AI in October last year to enhance employees' understanding of digital transformation (DX).
The KAIST industry-academia linked education program will run for about three months starting in April. Employees from Woori Financial Holdings, Woori Bank, Woori Card, and Woori FIS will participate to receive education and practical training in digital transformation, big data, and artificial intelligence.
