Baek Hajun, CEO of OB Beer, Participates in the 'Children's Traffic Safety Relay Challenge'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] OB Beer announced on the 25th that CEO Bae Ha-jun participated in the ‘Children’s Traffic Safety Relay Challenge’ to prevent traffic accidents involving children and to create a safe traffic environment.
The ‘Children’s Traffic Safety Relay Challenge’ is a campaign initiated by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety in December last year, designed to build national consensus on preventing traffic accidents in school zones and to establish a culture that prioritizes child protection. The campaign proceeds in a relay format where participants share photos on SNS holding slogans for children’s traffic safety, selected through a public idea contest, and then nominate the next participant.
CEO Bae Ha-jun joined the challenge after being nominated by Shin Yoo-jung, CEO of Hollys F&B, with whom he had connected through the 2019 ‘Water and People Photo Contest.’ CEO Bae posted a photo holding the slogan ‘Stop at 1! Look both ways at 2! Wait for 3 seconds! Prevent with 4 actions!’ along with hashtags such as #ChildrenTrafficSafetyRelayChallenge #SchoolZone #OBBeerSupports on OB Beer’s official SNS. He nominated Sachin Sapute, President of Novelis Asia, a global rolled aluminum manufacturing and recycling company, and Min Myung-jun, CEO of ReHarvest, a food upcycling startup, as the next participants in the challenge.
