Realizing Various Sharing Activities Utilizing Corporation Resources Such as Providing Health Promotion, Educational and Cultural Experience Opportunities to Local Children and Adolescents, Food Culture Education, and Employee Talent Donation
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seoul Agro-Fisheries & Food Corporation (President Kim Kyungho) and regional children's centers in Songpa-gu, including Songpa Hope World (Director Lee Junghoon), Nurimi (Director Kang Seonggu), Solbit (Director Yoo Seunghui), and the Municipal Munjeong 1-dong (Director Eom Mikyung) children's center, signed a "Visiting Social Contribution Agreement" on the 23rd at the Nurimi Regional Children's Center to promote the health of local children and adolescents and provide educational and cultural experience opportunities.
Through this business agreement, the corporation will provide the regional children's centers with highly nutritious ingredients (fruits, meat) from Garak Market twice a month, and will offer education on healthy eating habits and various experiential opportunities linked with the corporation’s food culture education programs, urban gardens, and the One Company One Fishing Village initiative.
Additionally, a technical volunteer group composed of corporation employees who donate their technical skills will support the improvement of aging facilities such as kitchens and restrooms in the regional children's centers, enabling children to use the facilities more safely and comfortably. The corporation’s employee hobby clubs, including the cultural and sports clubs, will also engage with children and adolescents during their activities, realizing comfort and sharing for neighbors in need.
Kim Jonggeun, Head of Management at the corporation, said, “It is even more meaningful that we can contribute to the local community by utilizing the corporation’s human resources and facilities.”
