Gwangju Seobu Office of Education Holds Agreement Ceremony for 'Technical Support for School Facilities for the Disabled'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] On the 24th, the Gwangju Western Office of Education announced that it held a 'Technical Support for School Facilities for the Disabled' business agreement ceremony with the Gwangju Center for the Promotion of Convenience for the Disabled to enhance the appropriateness of installation during construction of convenience facilities for the disabled.
The Gwangju Center for the Promotion of Convenience for the Disabled is a specialized institution under the Association of Persons with Physical Disabilities that undertakes the task of verifying the suitability of convenience facilities for the disabled.
At the ceremony, nine people attended including Park Joo-jung, Superintendent of the Western Office of Education, Kang Yoon-seok, Director of Administrative Support, Cho Young-woo, Director of School Facilities Support Division, Park Jong-pil, Director of the Gwangju Center for the Promotion of Convenience for the Disabled, and Lee Chun-haeng, Secretary General.
The event proceeded in the order of greetings from representatives of each institution, a brief introduction of the purpose, signing of the agreement, commemorative photo session, and a meeting.

Cho Young-woo, Director of the School Facilities Support Division at the Western Office of Education, said, “The Western Office of Education has established a detailed plan for the proper installation of convenience facilities for the disabled, and through this agreement, we have decided to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions. As the number of special education students entering general schools continues to increase, we will strive to create school facilities that are comfortable for students to live in.”
