[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 24th that it has started accepting consent forms for COVID-19 vaccination for seniors aged 75 and older, which will begin on April 15.
The vaccination target includes approximately 7,450 people born on or before December 31, 1946, who have an address within the jurisdiction. Vaccination and personal information consent forms must be registered in advance to receive the vaccine.
Consent forms can be submitted through the responsible eup/myeon office by April 6, and for seniors with mobility difficulties, village chiefs and dedicated village officials are conducting home visits to collect consent forms.
After the consent form submission is completed, the county will finalize the list of eligible individuals, adjust the schedule, and notify the recipients. Measures are also being prepared for seniors who have difficulty traveling to the vaccination center to ensure smooth vaccination progress.
The vaccination center is planned to be set up in Building 1 of the Handeul Ecological Parking Lot located in front of the Hamyang Intercity Bus Terminal. After vaccination, post-management measures and monitoring will be conducted to respond promptly in case of emergencies.
